Monday – “Two Centuries of Glory”

The 200th Anniversary of the Bunker Hill Monument Cornerstone Laying

In partnership with Grand Lodge of Masons of MA, A&HAC, Lafayette Society of MA, NPS

• 9:30am beginning at Charlestown Navy Yard Gate I

Procession to the Monument begins from the Charlestown Navy Yard Gate 1 with Grand Lodge of Masons in Massachusetts, the Ancient & Honorable Artillery Company, American Friends of Lafayette, Massachusetts Lafayette Society in full regalia will proceed along the Freedom Trail to the Bunker Hill Monument Grounds

• 10:00am on the Monument Grounds

with Michael Douglas “Daniel Webster” reenactor to read edited Webster’s speech and “Lafayette” will give his historical remarks, followed by Guest Speakers

Accompanying music from the original 1825 event will be performed.
