Music for Celebrating LaFayette

Welcome to the American Friends of Lafayette Music Resources page!

Here you will find links to musical works which are appropriate for your celebration of the Lafayette bicentennial. They date mostly from the time he spent touring the United States, in 1824/1825, but also include related music from Revolutionary times to the 20th century. These musical compositions are tagged according to instrumentation, making it easy for you to locate music suitable for a variety of ensembles. We have also included our curated list of talented musical performers who can bring to life this wonderful music. Please note that while the downloading of our music scores is free, you will need to negotiate performing fees directly with the professional musicians on our roster. We wish you much success with your musical celebration of Lafayette’s return to America!

Be sure to scroll to the bottom of the page to find a roster of musicians you can hire to perform the musical works featured here.
