AFL and Historic Beverly are partnering for the event, which will take place at the Cabot House/Bank building, 117 Cabot Street, Beverly, MA, where Lafayette received his welcome in 1824. The event will highlight Robert Rantoul’s speech to Lafayette; Rantoul’s original remarks will be on view in the museum. After the remarks, please join us for refreshments, and an opportunity to talk to Lafayette.  Invited guests include William Chanler, grandson of Beatrice Chanler, who was responsible for the purchase of Chateau Lafayette, the ancestral home of the Marquis.
