First Church of Lancaster Unitarian Universalist, at 725 Main Street, Lancaster, MA, will welcome Lafayette at the Church building, designed by Charles Bullfinch and dedicated in 1817.  Reverend Nathaniel Thayer addressed Lafayette here in 1824.

The Reverend Wil Darcangelo will read Reverend Nathaniel Thayer’s original welcoming address. General Lafayette will recite his speech from the same date 200 years ago and will take questions from the public.
