To celebrate the 200th anniversary of Lafayette’s tour of the U.S. and his visit to Marblehead and the Jeremiah Lee Mansion, Marblehead Museum will host a gathering in the Lee Mansion Gardens, 161 Washington Street, Marblehead, MA, (rain or shine), 12 pm-1:30 pm. Be there to welcome a Lafayette reenactor, who will arrive in his carriage to address the crowd, as well as to hear a reenactment of the honors Marblehead residents presented to Lafayette. Also, mingle with Glover’s Marblehead Regiment.
