- American Friends of Lafayette traveling panels will be displayed in the New Rochelle Public Library Lobby.

- Lafayette exhibit featuring the artwork of local summer campers
- Panels depicting the close connection between New Rochelle resident Thomas Paine and Lafayette, and the New Rochelle historical connection.

The Marquis de Lafayette arrives to a 19-gun salute, bells ringing
accompanied by emissaries from New Rochelle, Gideon Coggeshall and Laird
M. H. Butler. Greeted by the sounds of Charles Dickerson Fife, Drum and Bugle Corps

New Rochelle Mayor Ramos-Herbert issues a proclamation declaring August 18th Lafayette Day.
