Peter Reilly, of the American Friends of Lafayette, will discuss Lafayette’s time in Cambridge and his visit to Boston, with special attention dedicated to Edward Everett’s renowned memorable discourse on that occasion.  

We will gather at 11:30 AM in the Music Room at the St Botolph Club of Boston, 199 Commonwealth Ave, Boston, MA, for light refreshments (passed wine and soft beverages). A seated lunch of a seasonal salad with either chilled poached salmon or grilled chicken will be served at noon during which a 30-minute lecture will be given with time for questions. This will be followed by coffee, tea, and macaroons.
