Please join us in celebrating the Bicentennial of Lafayette’s Farewell Tour 1824-2024. Ruth Bergeron, Plainfield Municipal Historian will present a program on Gilbert du Motier de Lafayette. You will hear the history of this great man and his contribution in helping our country achieve independence.  Ruth will also discuss the impact Lafayette had on the residents of Plainfield when he came to our town 200 years ago! Refreshments will be served. The program was organized by the America 250 Committee and the Daughters of the American Revolution Debrah Avery Putnam Chapter
